Gonna start this brut will expand later.

So I am a hunter fisher and horse guy. My wife and I both got teaching jobs using computers and poof our son was a geek. Tha's not to say I haven't done the computer thing. From pong, to donkey kong I have played them. I even remeber playing a star trek game on a trs80 using a casstte recorder for memory.

Ne how, my son got age of empires and we started playing each other on line. I chose Dad eus inda like dad zeus. Well I have been a star wars fan forever and one day Jmon(my sons nick) brought home jka and we were off to the races. We played several types but I loved the objectives of siege. We met a lot of guys in out first try. Dial-up in the country was the best we could do. Just as we were figuring things out we got hit by lightning. Then we moved to the house we live in now(also in the country). After several months we got back on line and began to play again. The whole purpose at first was for mr and Jmon to have something in common. It wasn't long before he moved on and I was hooked. Jmon had gotten really good at sabering and me...I liked to spam.

After a while I began to learn more about clans. The real problem was dial-up. I wish I had a nickel for everytime someone asked me if I was euro. I also wish I had a nickel for everytime some made a stoopid remark about my age.

Well my favorite server became dark sky. While there I got to know some of the ds guys and gals. linky, slicer, mav, thinking and dark general were all pretty cool to me. Often when they closed the servers for practice they would let me stay. Iori Yagami often showed up during these times, I thought he was the best gamer I ever saw. When I would tell him that he would talk about guys from other clans that he thought were so much better.

After a while I asked about applying for Membership. I was told my dial-up and lack of skill would be a problem. I applied at the same time as exar kuhn and malice. We were all granted .iT status. I was later told it was close for me but I was let in for being a good guy adnd not for skill. I was later told that Demonhunter was pissed and eventually left the clan be cause he didn't feel I belonged.

I got training from Mav and Dark General. Eventually I was able to learn some from Iroi. I watched as guys who had been gone came back only to leave again. there was dark trooper, Darkfire and some guy name Robert Goulet. My faveorite story is when Malice and someone else got whipped by a couple ujers. For weeks anytime a ujer showed up he would type uj spams.

As time went on the clan slowly began to die. The final nail imo was when they started exiles. At the same time darkfire did his sabriel thing and many of the guys didn't want to be associated with hime. take that and thinkings injury mav and slicer off to college and linky off to ffaing and there wasn't much left. I joined bfa for a while and made to 4fang. But there were a few dipwads that made it tough and so I came back to try and get ds going again. I brought darkfire back with me not knowing that people still held a grudge towards him. We got going in a hurry. several people joined with aliases not wanting others to know. they can reveal if they want. We also got some of bfa's unhappy souls and played some matches and scrims. But real life kicked in and I was afk. When I came back ds was dead again

At some point I had made some real good connections. Guard and gbob tried to train me as did dark helmet. I joined a team/clan here and there always short lived. I gained respect of some guys that I really respected. Dandaman, achilliz, archimedes an hopefully others... I eventually joined rcb but that has been more of a place to call home then anything else. I made some huge mistakes I am sure someone will point out. Even old farts can be stoopid.

I would start listing guys I have loved getting to know but I would leave someone out....and probably already have. My beiggest accomplishment has not been my game play but the tourney I put together to try and keep killz in siege. Gt beat td in the finals. which is funny cause gt formed during the tourney and took someone's place.

I have had a blast teasing guys who get really mad..from omni to wafflz..... And let me set the record straight, kamikazee penguin was the coolest gamer I ever played with.... When he became wafflz he was my favorite gamer to piss off. And that took some doing cause I loved pissing off omni...

I was beginning to worry about you lately....but I know it can be fun to prod people like simpkin.

Provoking simpkin was probably one of the deciding factors of me being invited to THU.

I was technically in DS for at least one scrim as I recall....When you were trying to rebuild.

I think attitude means a lot , so I've respected you since I met you....you know us 'old' guys gotta stick together....and these kids these days, right?

LOL, feels funny saying that at 35/yo, but I guess I am pretty old in comparison to most that play this game. :/

ds jazz as i recall. I remember having to tell darkfire off for not listening tou and another aliased pros strategy......We had some pretty good alised dsers.....it was fun to me.
