Also the newer bunch of peoples seem less...dramatic about playing siege. Nobody's raging because of people saying shit, or not playing in just the right manner. These newer guys are pretty cool.

It's tough to get upset at other people for sucking when everyone on the server is horrible and has no idea what decent play even looks like.

Therein lies the problem. It'll be the same whether you got a server of noobs playing or a server of pros playing. Mix the two, and watch the sparks fly.

The problem is that there are three groups of veterans:

Group A that doesn't mind helping out new players, teaching them things, and watching them grow into leet dudes.
Group D (D for Duo!) is like group A, tries to help people.. but goes about it in the worst possible way. "BREAK MY GLASS SHITTY. RAGE. RAGE. RAGE. ARRRRRG."
Group 3: Someone who is convinced everyone is a "shitty" and has no chance of ever being good at the video game. This person hardly ever plays, but when they do all they do is bitch and ragequit.

And Groups 4 (just for meh): vets who are noobs themselves

There are also Groups 5, 6, & 7.

5: Grumpy vets who disappear only to reappear under an alias as a friendly guy.
6: Friendly vets who disappear only to reappear as a grumpy guy.
7: People who REALLY are fucking dumb and not worth anyone's time.
