We have a lot of new players pugging with us lately and while we all know and appreciate the fact that you're trying to improve the quality of the video game, try to lighten it up a little bit when telling dudes they're doing things wrong. Try to remember that we were all dudes with terrible demp aim at some point. The point is to inform new players, not scare them away.

Agreed. I know for some people it can get really frustrating when people do things wrong, just remember they don't have the years of pug experience we do and there hasn't been much opportunities for them to pug in a while.

I've always had a mic, it's just.. kind of.. broke-ish.
I'll be getting a new mic (or headset or something) and vent around new years prob, soon as I get some decent cash flow.

It's a lot easier on them if they're in vent rather than not. If someone is trying to mine the ion glass and I have to choose between A) getting killed because I stopped playing to tell them in chat what to do, or B) let them continue to not only be useless, but also think they're doing just fine. If they're in vent, I can tell them not to mine the ion glass as I'm playing and I don't have to resort to dropping F bombs in allchat. I got a lot better by being constantly bitched at and told what to do in teamspeak when I first started pugging. Might be tough at first but at least you're learning and improving rather than believing you're doing just fine and remaining at the same level for your entire siege career. Remember when Vail was horrible? Then he got vent and me/jawa/kra told him everything to do and he got 1000 times better.
