If I or any of my offensive teammates get to the lift, and it is up, that's liftlame... pretty simple concept. That means that anytime you take the lift up, you are taking a risk. And with that risk should come a consequence. I've been saying this for fucking YEARS, and still no one does anything about it, then I still hear the bitching when the lift is up, the entire offense is waiting at the bottom, and all but one of the defense is dead.

I don't think that's entirely true, I would consider a single timed lift of the elevator a lame, if it trapped the offense at the bottom without enough time to have a run at the infirmary before another spawn.

I don't think that's entirely true, I would consider a single timed lift of the elevator a lame, if it trapped the offense at the bottom without enough time to have a run at the infirmary before another spawn.

If you're at that lift, you can easily decimate anyone pretty quickly as any class....or you can just jump on their head as they come up.


Plus, that lift is really too insignificant to dedicate an entire strategy toward....better to 'jkb' it more and push them back.

Most confrontations in pugs there are usually like j3rk said....you're chasing someone and/or possibly meet another guy on the way back to the infirm.

About the only way I would call lame there is if there were two offensive players up and one of them was just calling the lift to keep the defense from getting there.

Remember, peeps....with this lift there is another way to the CC. (Disregarding the side door of the hangar before it is unlocked.) I think you're just hurting yourself lift-laming when there is more than one route....the idea is to cut them off BEFORE they can choose separate paths....and keep them farther from the objective.

So basically a defender can just chicken out and take the lift up to avoid being killed by the other team, while also preventing the offense from completing the objective, and while also waiting for the rest of his team to spawn.

Sorry, but that doesn't seem terribly rational. I don't care if you go up there so Jan can watch you masturbate, if the lift is up when I get there, that means a defender is blocking me from killing them and from completing the objective. I guess I should just start +using up there for the whole objective now, right? That, or you're due for some more in-depth explanation of why that is the most "retarded" thing you've ever heard.
