I think it's funny when players turn up in pugs and when they get asked who they are they're like 'I'm oldschool player, therefore I'm elite' and they played like 2 years ago or something

and then they turn out to be bad and they say 'yeah I'm rusty' and then never play again.

Then you got us, who say "I'm oldschool. I was bad then, and I'm just a bit better now."

Actually in the case of stars at least, the red end of the spectrum tends to indicate cooler, while the blue end tends to indicate hotter.

I don't really think you have to be good to be considered old school. lick's self destruction was over two years ago now, so I would consider people who were in lick to be pretty old school. Unless they joined towards the end or something.

Well, after all, red is the shortest wavelength of light that's visible to us, and blue is the longest.

Another related factor, however, is the Doppler effect of light. Objects that are receding from us are shifted towards the shortest visible wavelength (red), while objects that are approaching us are shifted towards the longest visible wavelength (blue).

Consensus: Seems to me Laser's been running from a dark past.
