problems with windows 7

so i jus tinstalled windows 7 and now i cant play to much games tbh i just can play LoL ¬¬

so i heard if u have windows 7 u can't play alot of games i didn't know that is it true??

should i change back to xp?? or there is a way to fix my problems??



btw all the problems are about files that computer can't find. and recommend to install again .. with all games

It would help if you told us which files it wants.

With the little info you've given, I'm gonna guess it's a graphics driver problem.

That or a bad pirate version of 7.

well it s a pirate windows 7 xDDD

but still i didn't install w7 before cuz someone told tha tu cant play games to much games with w7 ..anyway to jka dont remember the problem but gonna check it again
but for example with lineage and some other s 2 games it says can't find a file .dll

i went to google find the problem fix it and then same problem with different file

I've played JKA, Mafia 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Mass Effect 1/2, LoL, Team Fortress 2, ETQW, GTA:IV, Portal 1/2, Oblivion, Dead Rising 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Crysis 1/2, KOTOR 1/2, Warcraft 3, blah, blah, blah...

There are no games I've ever tried to play in Windows 7 that wouldn't play.

But....I haven't really tried to play any of my old DOS games on 7 yet, either.

The games are not your problem.

I would guess you're using a microsoft-issued graphics driver since you haven't given any specs or specific errors.

ohh . i forgot to say. like i just installed w7
i have to install all my programs again. that means winrar adobe ..etc

but i dont know if i forget something.. so do i need something to make sure game will run is not graphic card cuz i already installed that

I've never had any issues running any games in w7, and I've run the same amount of games (if not more) as archi has.

Try running in WinXP compatibility mode.

I just checked and I *am* running JKA in compatibility mode for WinXP SP3. So try that, because it's working for me fine.
