You can guess why I've been gone for so long from the title, I assume.
But never fear, for I have acquired disk images and am able to mount them to start up multiplayer.
My problem is single player. Mounting doesn't work. I tried a crack, and I got into the game fine, but no player or npc models showed up and a few other perspective issues were messed up.

Any suggestions?

I think a number of us have a reduced 7MB iso just for launching the game, to include myself. I've used it for years and yes, I have played single player on occasion.

Hit me up on xfire (tuerkek) and I can send it to you. Maybe it'll work better.

Dang, it looks like it's a problem with my images. The iso works wonderfully, but I'm still having those single player problems. Can you link me to a good place to download the images?

well, if you have some sort of IM I could just send them to you. I've got a pretty good upload speed (around 120KB/s).

Looks like you have some bad data. Probably a wacky mod or corrupted assets pk3.

Try deleting your mods. If that doesn't work, reinstall.

Naw, it's not that. I just installed and I have no mods installed yet.

This isn't the patch issue again is it?
