Comp crashes (Completely restarts, as if there has been a power outage) every time I am on either of the Impulses for more than 10 minutes.

Going to reinstall soon, just thought if anyone had any other ideas.

Have you got nvidia? The newest 320.18 drivers seem to be crashing a lot (works fine for me though)

Well I'm not exactly the jan jockey, but I had a similar problem years ago. Whenever I powered up my laptop it would restart under the pretext, 'a restart is required.' Turns out I had a virus. Idk if it will help but try running any anti-virus software/ anti malware.

To expand on Axiw, if you recently updated your video drivers, try down-dating them to the most recent version before the new one.

If it works for some time and then crashes, I would suspect a heat problem. Pay attention to fan noise while you're playing.
yews a program to check your temperatures. chewie Monitor and GPU-Z work for most things; for AMD CPUs, yews AMD Overdrive or the motherboard utility; for Intel CPUs, yews CoreTemp.
Laptops in particular aren't really designed for continuous gaming scenarios, and tend to overheat rather quickly. Make sure to clean out fans and heatsinks with compressed air on a regular basis. There are a lot of laptops in landfills today because people don't do this.

Yea first thing I would do is clean out my components. Then Downgrade my drivers. Lastly start scanning for a virus. If none of those things work then try a reinstall. If it continues then you have some hardware issues.

Is there any type of bluescreen? If you cannot read the bluescreen because it just reboots then right click on computer, go to properties, advanced settings, startup and recovery settings, and then uncheck the automatically restart button. This will leave the blue screen up so you can copy down the stop code and give it to us.

Problem solved.

Went with a virus scan first, didn't help.
Tried to reinstall, no luck.
Did the least techish, but apparently most helpful thing and blew out the components of the computer (Not a labtop btw) and boom! Got through 40 mins of siege without crashing.
