Window Movie Maker.

WMM has started being selective about what MP3 files it imports. Actually, as of right now I can old get one single MP3 to import properly.
Anything else I try, the Import bar immediately jumps to full, and then just sits there until I exit the program. (I have to exit via task manager.)

I've been using WMM on a few projects for literally three or four months, and haven't had any problems importing MP3's before. Just started like three days ago.

Double Post;

WMM is still importing WAV files, so I can work around my problem easily using Itunes to convert stuff to WAVs. I'd still like to know why it just started being all selective about what it imports though.

Personally I like the NCH stuff.

Switch to convert across audio files, and VideoPad to edit video. I had to make a documentary for a GE class once, and used those programs cause Windows Movie Maker wouldn't import anything, like you said.

Yeah, I have Adobe After Effects installed so I can do special effects like Muzzle flashes and stuff, but I don't yews it for editing the actual video because I find it way too complicated. But VideoPad seems like it would be pretty simple to yews, and I doubt it crashes half as much as WMM so maybe I'll give it a try.

Alright Guard, so I'm using VideoPad.

However, my Audio bar has disappeared, and I can't seem to get it to come back up. You know, you can click panels to make them disappear and what not; well I don't know how to get the audio panel back.

I spent a good 10 minutes trying to get it to pop back up, and it's actually very frustrating considering it seems like such a simple n00b problem.

Actually, I set my hardware acceleration to None and now WMM works blazingly fast, and hasn't crashed yet.

So I guess I'll continue to be the cheap bastard who uses google to find work arounds for his problems. It's worked so far.
