It depends where and when you go, football fans are the best, and this goes hand in hand with football being the best sport :).

In England the best atmospheres come from Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds and Everton.

In Spain your best bet would be Barcelona or Atletico Madrid I think.

Germany would probably be St. Pauli.

In turkey you can get really good atmospheres, but hooliganism is prominent and dangerous there, same with Italy.

@footy fans: dont go crazy just because i know more about my own country's football than others, if i left one out TOUGH SHIT XD

And the sport isn't too bad either :)

43 goals in 10 games were scored in the Premier League this weekend, that's a record.

The world cup attracts MANY more viewers than the superbowl, year in year out.

First off, CFL > NFL! GO ARGOS!

Asking AME football players to play 3 or 4 games a week is completely unrealistic, it's like asking professional boxers to fight every week. Their bodies take a beating, so many guys need to be hopped up on painkillers to even play.

The reason I don't take interest in the NFL (and NBA for that matter) is that a 80%* of a player's success at that level is determined by their genetics. There seems to be more emphasis on physical rather than technical ability in these leagues as opposed to hockey or EUR football, which I find leads to players that are less interesting to watch.

Anyways, in order of most to least exciting to watch:

1. Hockey
2. EUR Football
3. (Kick)boxing / MMA
4. The Olympics**
5. Tennis

420. Curling

9001. Baseball
9002. Cricket
9003. NASCAR
9004. Golf
9005. Darts

* number pulled directly out of my ass
** not actually a sport, but still, it's the fucking Olympics

Once again someone that doesn't know what they are talking about when it comes to AME football. You were right until you started this paragraph. Football takes an INSANE amount of intelligence.

The QB is the hardest position to play in ALL of sports. Takes by far the most intelligence than any other sport to play that position. You have to read defenses and study film like CRAZY. The whole team does this too. They have to memorize SOOOO many plays and even the O linemen have to have intelligence on what the defense is going to do. Whether a blitz is coming and which 1 of them is coming and where you have to pick up your block etc. The defense has to see what the offense is running and adapt to it etc. I can keep going and explain every position and why it takes intelligence for that position but I'll just stop it there.

Sorry but football takes more intelligence than soccer and hockey. Both of those are skating/running on fast breaks and scoring by taking advantage of numbers or off deflections. Try to correct me if I'm wrong but running/skating around doesn't really take the intelligence like football does, it's more of ball/puck skills if anything.

Last time I heard an argo fan was when cam wake was ripping up their o'line for 3 sacks per game with the Lions :o

LOL Turkey just because you did Army PT for like 6 years doesn't mean you have athletic ability. You are probably relatively fit though.

Ya, tens...quarterback would be about the only exception...

I don't HATE football and I'm not a towelboy...I say it's easy 'cause I pretty much dominated almost everyone I played High School/College level, but my interest at that time was more towards hoops.

It wasn't until I blew my knee that I started really liking hockey....about the easiest of the sports on the old knees on a daily basis....unless you wanna count figure skating...cross-country skiing.....bowling...NASCAR. :/

Another reason I like hockey....hockey players are about the most humble dudes ever.
