So what exactly happened to united-clan? Why the new name?

Last I talked to Neptune, he was fixing something on the site and it would be "back up soon." It's been down for well over two months (getting close to threeish) so I guess some people just took it upon themselves to make a new site.
I believe the change from "united-clan" to "united gaming community" is purely just to appeal to more people - and hopefully get some more life brought to our servers and site.
