I used to have the knight password for tempest, and then I stopped playing and no one updated me.

I don't think that means I should automatically get it again, so I'm asking to be considered. Me and my brother sometimes play on tempest now that I've got a new laptop, and I wish I could restart and kick people when necessary.

p.s. do people still pug?

Well as I know we do this in PMs exactly written to Guard. We all know how he likes to be in Guard mode, so that is a faster way I guess. Sometimes we do pugs.

Nope, Laser is right on the money. He's got to have a current admin vouch for him to get admin. At least, that was the most recent system I remember. But I digress, I haven't seen you in game at all, but I've seen your brother a bunch. Have you just been playing under the same name?

Here's my 2cents (AU). on this issue.
When the password changes for whatever reason, no-one seems to get updated as it happens.

Its like all admins have to re-apply to get the new password.

If you take some time off the game for whatever reason. Holidays, work, study, death.
then come back and find the passwords changed, you're screwed.

My view is a better system would be to have a list of known admins who get a PM with the new password when it changes.

Opinions ?

I think the "original list." (Looked for it, but couldn't find it, but I know what you're talking about.) Is pretty obsolete since it has like Lorax, Aries, etc on it. I think it was rendered obsolete during that week where Guard changed all the admin passwords and let us fend for ourselves. If you got admin after that week, you were deemed trustworthy/special.

Tbh, I don't think we have that many admins and I think it WOULD be good to have another in the Euro timezone. Currently I think Ram, Xeon, Console (?) have knight, Mike has council, and I've got council/rcon. (Mike might have rcon too, unsure.) And I think for Impulse admins it's just Xeon, Mike, Guard. Not that you really need any admins there in the first place.

Ramshi is not euro time zone, India is not in Euro (as well as Australia).

I don't have admin to Impulse, I have rcon (yep it's better) and J3rk has rcon, too there as well as Mike and Guard.
